Situated along the Mac Arthur Highway, the main transportation highway linking northern Luzon to the National Capital Region (Manila), the hospital have a very strategic location. It is accessible to patients coming from the neighboring municipalities in Tarlac and nearby provinces of Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Pangasinan. Aside from its strategic location, it's 2,000 square meter parking space provides a vantage point for ingress and more than sufficnet parking space. In 2001, before the conversion of the hotel to a hospital, Dr. Jose Chua, Jr. set up a medical clinic at the ground floor of the hotel. A laboratory and diagnostic center at the second floor of the hotel was also opened. The construction and the conversion into a hospital officially began on April 2002. Nevertheless, hotel operations on the 4th and 5th floors still continued while the conversion is going on until the 4th quarter of 2002, at which time the hotel ceased its operation to expedite the construction of the hospital’s facilities.
