Mundipharma Distribution GmbH (Philippine Branch) hereinafter referred to as “Mundipharma Philippines” or the “Company” started commercial operations on June 16, 2005. With barely a handful of employees promoting opioids in 2005, the Company today has grown four-fold its manpower and is one of the global leaders in cancer pain. With the expansion of the tramadol business in 2007 and the transfer of the consumer-line in 2010, Mundipharma Philippines has established its presence in key areas of the Philippines. Mundipharma Philippines’ office is located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City while the Asia Pacific Regional Office is based in Singapore. Globally, Mundipharma established its operations in Basel, Switzerland in 1957 and has considerably expanded its scope of activities throughout the world through its independent associated companies. Today, Mundipharma has a worldwide licensing and distribution network with sales of licensed products in over 80 countries. These include successful collaborations and licensing in Latin America, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific, with the establishment of a manufacturing plant in China.
