Medethix is derived from the word Medicine and Ethics. Medicines – is the science or practice of the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. It encompasses a variety of health care practices evolved to maintain and restore health by the prevention and treatment of illness. Ethics – sometimes known as moral philosophy, is a branch of philosophy that involves systematizing, defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong. Started in the year 2009, MEDETHIX a wholly owned Filipino company, understanding the implication of high cost of medicine to common Filipino family decided to work towards bringing down the cost, in our own little way, by Registering and Importing medicines primarily from INDIA which provides 20% of worlds drug requirements with most number of approved US FDA plants outside of U.S.
